£1056 21 back!!!!

And Gary, if you ever sold up you'd have more £ than the Queen mate, Royal Mint would probably have to print some new notes with your mug on instead.

Yeah as has been said, seller sold at right time, and as with some Palitoy items, seems to be a few more afa 85's coming out of the woodwork at the moment.
I am a firm believer that everything has its price, I know we say, ' I would never sell that piece piece, or my collection ' but I think most would if the price was 'right' ..

I got out bid on a couple of pieces, but I managed to secure the 21c Han for my focus.

Well done mate :D Ur focus collections r serious

Fair play. Ultimately people were only going to pay what they were willing to pay.

I just hope if I ever cashed in people would be willing to spend high :D

Knowing my luck the bottom will have completely fallen out of the market :?
I really doubt that's gonna happen with the stuff you've got :)

I jumped in and bought the biker scout for £173.66 on this list - I probably overpaid but I know the short mouth version is a little rarer and the figure was one of my favourites as a kid which was a bit of a driver...

I actually thought the price was reasonable for the quality of the piece but I've only got back into collecting and might have been a little eager - you guys tell me!?

Believe it or not, short mouth Biker scouts on Made in Mexico Kenner cards are reasonably common, they also rarely yellow so you are somewhat safe in the knowledge that whenever you find one it'll probably be clear.

£174 is too much IMO, dealers push ungraded ones for $100-120, sometimes $150 but if you look around you can pick them up for under $100. Might not be "AFA 85" condition (or even have an AFA label at all) but when you can buy one for £60 and then spend another £114 on other figures..sometimes it makes sense to shop around.

PS: Welcome aboard :) Being on here will save you money, I guarantee it ;)

I wrote this before Christmas and if you are just back in to collecting and seeing high prices and AFA stuff all over the place then it might be a good read for you: http://trilogo.info/features/current-prices-rarity-afa/

While the article is about the Trilogo market you can probably replace the word "Trilogo" for just about anything else in this hobby and it would still make sense.

Any questions feel free to ask on here, good bunch of lads that offer honest opinions!
