I've just checked out his feedback :? Lord have mercy, seems as though people have lost thousands! Let's hope they get their money back. Must be a very stressful situation for those involved. So this new eBay bank transfer thing; I'd imagine the funds are held in a eBay bank account first...
Before clicking the link, I thought to myself, "Oh, it must be an old graded figure which has deteriorated inside the case." Wrong! That's quite a recent grade. It's not even debatable; no way is that an 85 grade!
It was basically a carbin copy of the original listing, but in English. Scumbag! Well spotted, sir :D It was on a 24-hour auction, which could of easily duped many people. How secure is the new eBay payment system, I wonder? Paying into someone's bank account might cause problems with getting...
Looks me like one of their early grading labels. They use to slap on an overall grade, without the subs on their labels. Although, I have seen fake AFA items out there.
Have they paid via eCheque through PayPal? In which case you won't receive the money for at least seven days. If that isn't the case, I'm not too sure? Maybe they paid by bank transfer? Might be worth checking your online banking. Also, check to see if the payment is pending on PayPal.
It actually puts me off buying items. If it's listed £10 BIN, without make an offer, I would probably pull the trigger on it. But when it has make an offer, and it declines at £9, I'm like fu*k you... I won't buy it full stop.
I thought some of you guys might like to know that the parcel has now been delivered.
He was able to have it re-delivered to their new business location. :D
Phew, that's given me some hope. It was £190, so not a low-end item. Great tip, I will mention they might be able to collect it using an ID along with a utility bill from their old address. It's a business address which has moved locations, so they must have an invoice or statement with the old...
I sold an item last week, item was posted on Tuesday and should have been received yesterday (I used Parcelforce24). The buyers PayPal and eBay address both matched, so that was the address I sent it too. It turns out that it was the buyer's old address, and I guess they never updated their...
I'll give GSP their dues, it's always be hassle free for me. One quick phone call and every thing has been sorted. But I've never attempted to sent MOCs through the service, so I have no idea on their approach with vintage toys?
This is the email I received from Steve in-regards to casing my figure. What concerns me, if this is an ungradable figure cased along with a graded figure, then it's truly confusing and misleading. I turned down to have my figure cased as I wanted to return it back to the original seller. But...
Do you guys think that this is a genuine unpainted Leia? I only ask because the unpainted figure hasn't been graded or labelled.
Along time ago in a not so far away galaxy, I submitted a figure to UKG which I thought was a genuine unpainted figure. It turned out that somebody had cleverly...
Modelers loft in Bournemouth have their vintage star wars items by the front door which is mostly made of glass. So sad to see items fade or discolour. They had/have a Greedo MOC that is so badly sun damaged, you would think that they would move the display away from the door. But every time I...
I've seen a few mistakes with grading labels. I had a Kenner Jabba the Hutt marked up as a Palitoy, and just the other month I saw a Hasbro WWF Razor Ramon marked as Bret Hart.
