The Starship sold for 120 - which I think is about right - I bid upto 110, but then missed it live so didn't get a chance to go up again.

I see a few on evilbay sitting there at 200+ same ones month after month, for me it is still around maybe 120-150 - but who knows... It is a great ship though.

Not really up-up - but a few things are creeping up, I think being the 25th Anniversary also helps as it is playing into a nostalgia thing for the kids that saw it back in the day. I am hoping that starship doesn't go above 120ish - which is annoying as I paid 30 for one back in the day...

In terms of back in the day stopping, I'm much the same as Edd - late 80's saw an end to being bought SW and a heavy swing to MASK - For me as a kid I remember the play features on the MASK toys being better and the fact you got a figure and a vehicle together was much more fun, also the scale...

For me it is seeing it all in one place and realising just how much there is and wanting a nice display which actually means less items etc. After 25 years of collecting there will be an inevitable rationalisation over the next few. Stuff will still come in, but stuff will also go out - maybe...

Figures no - but I do buy custom cardbacks for genuine figures - I have a Sky Snootles, Max Reno etc. on a MOC Kenner ROTJ Cardback - looks cool.

Love that - I remember being a kid and when it snowed taking all my SW toys out to play Hoth - I also recall losing a my green Luke saber and having to wait a week for the snow to melt to find it again :) Love it.

As I see it, this site doesn't actually manage transactions, it's more like 'classifieds' from back in the day - so I would say not - but it may have to post a disclaimer somewhere saying that sellers must declare what they have to on their forms etc. - a liability waver of sorts? I'm no expert...

I think sadly our kids (who lets face it only have eyes for eBay when it comes to our collections - or mine does anyway :) ) - will face a tax issue. I'm no expert but there have been a few reports on chances to HRMC's rules and approaches from this year...
