Agree, when selling something I'm not sure about I always ask myself if I'd buy it for the same price. If I wouldn't pay the price the buyer is offering me, I'm happy to sell.

The only reason anyone cries 'too cheap' is cos they are jealous they missed it themselves, no other reason.

Of course there is no justification, but if it sells even at 50% it's set a new record. If it doesn't sell the owner is shielded from any negativity by ZT's shiny ego and back into the collection it goes.

Could also be to protect the privacy of the seller. Is it from a black hole collection that doesn't want the attention?

$185k is reasonable if you have big money invested in the hobby that you can release quickly, which a few of the US based collectors and investors have. Some of the collectors who might seriously consider this could offer trade material that only cost them dollars that is now worth thousands, so...

Yeah, see to me I'm not fussed about the actors who played the roles. But then again I've never had an ounce of interest in autographs either.

Gives it a trusted source and provenance (not just a nice story). Far more than some rock star owning it previously anyway :lol:

I suppose i mean (as far as I'm concerned) it adds some credence or credibility to an item especially when it's PP or Kenner employee derived.

I own items that came from the likes of Todd Chamberlain or Chris Fawcett (ie collectors that go right back to the Kenner dumpster diving days and imo do add kudos to an item). Celebrity dealers or admin on FB? No thanks.

This goes right down through the bog standard UK FB groups where collectors who have literally been around 2 years get celebrity status simply cos they are admin.
