The lined waffle seal - Toy Toni or not?

Hi there, Attached are some photos of a Toy Toni Palitoy 65C Lando Skiff. This is currently for sale on ebay and seemingly correctly described as a Toy Toni, (no separate bubble for the helmet). However, the bubble has the lined waffle seal. It has previously been thought on this forum that...

    Han Hoth Experts? Help Needed

Hi there, This is my Han Hoth from childhood, the only figure I have left from my childhood. Can anybody pinpoint which card back this figure would have come from? Palitoy or Kenner, or could it be either? It was bought in the UK in late 1982 or early 1983. I have a vague memory of the weapon...

    Acrylic Case Damage?

Hi there, I’ve heard acrylic cases can damage cards. Apologies for asking a dumb question. 🙂 I was looking at my Yoda mocs today and just wondered if the wear on the left-hand side of the cards is from previously being kept in an acrylic case? I’ve never owned acrylic cases myself but thinking...

Storing mocs in star cases stacked on top of each other

Hi there, Due to room, I need to store my mocs in star cases stacked on top of each other. The containers they are stored in allow for 2 rows of star cases, stacked 5 high each row. Does stacking them warp the card backs over time? Or should I buy more containers and store them vertical? Cheers

    Palitoy Bubble Sealing Process

Hi there, Why did Palitoy have so many different sealing processes for bubbles? It went from the waffle seal to the lined seal on the ESB 45B, then to the slick/flat seal on ROTJ 45C. The 65A had a waffle seal again. It then returned to the slick seal on 65C onwards. What was going on at...

    Boushh Cardback Art

Hi there, Just wondered if anyone might know why the card-back art for Princess Leia in Boushh Disguise appears to be an illustration / hand rendered art? Deformed Bubbles Observations (65 backs and earlier)

Hi there, I just wondered if anyone has advice or insight as to what sometimes appears to be slightly melted or deformed bubbles on figures heat sealed with the waffle pattern. Was there scope in the factories during the vacuum in the making of bubbles or during the heat sealing process itself...

ESB Palitoy / PBP Bossk Figure

Hi there, I have a Palitoy ESB 45b Bossk, with the bounty hunter offer on the reverse. Factory sealed with the lined seal pattern which is correct for this issue. The figure itself is what people call a Spanish (PBP) Bossk with the bigger lips than standard. These figures seem common on many...
