    Cardboard Star Wars…!!

I also have C3PO, r2 and a Jawa. I had a chewbacca from a video rental store as well and he was massive, but, a little worse for wear

Vintage Sealed Luke & Ben Kenobi Figures - Advice on Fake or Not

With Luke, very hard to tell from photos, but, lightsaber colour looks too dark. Photos below of real ones. Also, evidence of opened bubble to right top corner. Also worth a look here as much better pictures available: https://www.imperialgunnery.com/lightsabers.htm

Vintage Sealed Luke & Ben Kenobi Figures - Advice on Fake or Not

Ben - paint wear and broken sabre (can’t see tip in bubble) too suggests not a factory sealed bubble. In picture - the sabre in the hand is real. Compared with the loose fake one - fake one is a bit bigger and rounder and tip is more solid (although tip comparison not an issue!)

All my MOCs are now in GW acrylic cases. No fit issues and lifts the display quality. Highly recommend.

    Sam Neil R.I.P.

Indeed sad news, I remember clearly going to the cinema to see Jurassic Park. A timeless classic.

    My display shelf

Agree with Cazza regarding repros (although I keep the ones I’ve ended up with as a reference rogues gallery in a bag of shame). Given your figure budget posted in the other thread you could easily chip away at loose complete examples with real accessories well within the £100 per figure budget...

Anyone else worried about what this heat is doing to their collection?

In short yes. Mine’s in a converted loft where I also often work, but, was forced downstairs by the last heatwave. This one wasn’t quite as bad. I try to vent the room to allow cooling, but, balancing ventilation with not allowing direct sunlight in. So in summary a damned if you do damned if...
