I totally agree . I see kids into things like Pokemon cards etc when nostalgia kicks in for them , it will be for whatever they are into . And it sure as heck won't be vintage Star Wars figures. Of course that mint graded 12 back moc will always highly prized - its pop culture history - but...

I think a heck of a lot people are paying a top dollar for mint , purely to grade , and then charge silly sums for those 85s. What a racket.

I don't know how the changes are rolling out (I gather private sellers had this earlier?) but I now gave the option for eBay funds go straight into my bank rather than PayPal Apparently it takes longer for funds to clear , and cost the same or less than using PayPal (not convinced!) Any...

That's what I think has happened. I don't think that's a bad thing in a sense to escape eBay fees (which have contributed to price increases imo). Equally I have no desire to traipse around Facebook so once I've completed my loose run I think I will be pretty much done with regards to vintage...

The rest of this seller's auction prices all went for fairly standard prices ... I was scratching my head on the bidding war on this one as couldn't see anything remarkable about it. 20 bid so it wasn't even as if they added an extra 0 by mistake !
