    Lovely perspex display

This is crazy 1) The guy admits it's fake but has a starting price of $150 I'm guessing due to it being at the top of his own rating scale which he calls 'stunning' 2) Someone's bidded on it...

Nice profit if you can get it!

I know it's crazy days. Thankfully I don't have any interest in sticker variations but I'll have a look at these valuations you mention and calculate how much money I've saved :)

Nice profit if you can get it!

I would guesstimate the tatty boxed DVTF would be around £80 so that Menzies sticker with writing on it cost £170

Yer but he might be flipping to pay the bills for all we know. I see he managed to sell it with best offer.

    Toy Fair NYC 1980 pics

Couldn't have put it better:D Thanks for posting them, 1980 photo's are a bit blurry on my laptop but I can make out the boxed stuff and the hoth diorama's. I presume that would have been a corporate retail fair or summat and not a Manhattan church fair where everything's a dollar. I would...

Nice profit if you can get it!

Yer that's one way of doing it :D Flipping has always went on (especially AFA and UKG) with collectables and antiques of all varieties. If it didn't carded figures would still be £1.30 - it's just some people take the flipping piss!

Nice profit if you can get it!

I can see both sides of the argument but at the end of the day he can do what he wants. He's trying to make a big margin on a vintage (and has to be said) rare stickered box t-fighter which he got for a good price in first place. For me this kind of activity is far less worse than all these...

    Palitoy FX-7 30a cardback.

You should see the rest of Gary's collection in the showcase section, it's like going back to your favourite toy shop in 1980 8)

    Palitoy FX-7 30a cardback.

Sorry when I did >> I meant much greater than £300. £300 would be a bashed up bubble version (if your lucky). An 85 graded one would probably set you back £800-£1000 on ebay. if the cardback is in good nick with the name plate and minimal tearing then yes north of £15.

Would you be collecting if it wasn't for Star Wars?

I can't believe how much vinyl junkies we have. I collect vinyl too (forgot to mention that in my previous reply). Got over a 1000 mostly 60's and 70's early pressings. I've been selling duplicates on ebay recently but it's very time consuming cos I playgrade. Now I've bought a VHS player...

Would you be collecting if it wasn't for Star Wars?

Yes good question. I'm a hoarder of nostalgia too so would have focused on something else I had from my childhood. Micronauts, Space Lego, Matchbox cars, Action Man, Commando Comics and Britians soldiers are my main side collections but I'm always coming across other toy lines I forgot...

    Tundra9's Feedback

Had a recent buying experience with Jorn. Excellent communication and the items arrived less than a week later from where Reindeers are grown in a sturdy box full of bubble wrap. The items were as described and I'm very happy. You can rely on Jorn to deliver a brilliant product and...
