Yes, at this rate, say this time next year, it will probably be impossible to tell the difference between real and fake.
Maybe only the smell of cards will tell them apart but no doubt some faker is working on that as we speak.
Exactly it's essential to be able handle the card every so often.
It's big business now getting stuff graded and selling on or stockpiling and investing for the future.
Some great stuff, love those Palitoys and that Luke Gunner with the sabre lying in the bubble is a beauty.
Always loved the photo's on those 6 packs just wish they were affordable and not so scarce!
That broken up Jawa is cool too it's the first time I've seen a removable limbs figure apart...
Well done threaders20, nice to see a lovely cabinet (c. 977) like that being rescued and restored to a high standard. ( let's hope the Vicar doesn't get wind of this or he'll be round asking for a donation for the church roof! )

I was actually thinking about buying a grands worth of stamps and keeping them for 10 years and then cashing them back in at the post office, got to be better than any saving account (since sometimes stamps go up 5p or more) but I'm not sure if they'd take them back. I know they're legal tender...

I knew all the best stuff would be there on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but by the Friday/Saturday it was the usual suspects!
I managed it once, when I had a mid-week hospital appointment and as a treat afterwards we went to Fenwick's...
My main toy shops were the department stores, since they had the floor space and all the cards and boxes layed out in front of you did strange things to a 10 year old. We had my local department store in Byker called 'Parrishes' (which has now been reduced to housing students) though I still...
Great stuff, I remember all those priceless moments happening to me too!
The only difference with me was that I knew exactly what I had and didn't have. The golden moment would be when I hit the Star Wars section and looked up at the rack and within seconds I knew whether the figure I hoped...
Yes, it is a disgrace.
If you love the sticker box it might be worth considering buying a cheap Kenner Droid factory and filling the gaps that way ?
May be a further $100 or so.
