Incredibly sad, and well before his time. I saw him with Ade Edmonson in one of the Bottom Live shows at Newcastle City Hall a few years back, and I was in stitches throughout. Hi comedy provided some great memories, and he seemed like a genuinely nice bloke as well.

I seem to remember a resealed Palitoy Chewy going for around £100 on ebay late last year, so these prices look well over the top considering no bubbles or footers... it only takes a couple of idiots to pay over the odds for something and it artificially inflates the price for other examples
