I'm just about 39. I started collecting at 3 1/2 because my older cousins were all into Star Wars and I thought it was cool too.

I'd forward that response to ebay. The seller should be encouraged to send his "other " one to you for the price of your winning bid. Unfortunately, Ebay could care less about their customers.

It's not only fun to have a slice of the preproduction process, but it is also a challenge to put together a proof run of a favorite character or back. Anyone can make a run of carded figures, but it takes time, networking, patience, persistence, cash, and some luck to put together a decent...

I also have to go with the "first 12" figures. They are so iconic, the first figures to be released, and some of the best sculpts.

I've had the same problem when purchasing items from the UK or Australia. The ebay conversion is really off and misleading. It's always a bummer to end up paying a decent amount more than planned. I've started using a separate online converter to get a better idea of the current exchange rate...

Any guesstimates to the value of a really nice Lucite star with "Star Wars" on it? The one I'm looking at is in excellent shape, but has a small chip in the lower back corner. Is $100 USD a good price for one of these? Thanks! -R

Final Frontier is a but pricey, but Frank is honest and a really nice guy. Just join their FB group and wait for a sale, it makes their stuff more affordable.
