Great thread guys. I actually hadn't heard of Jim so good to learn a bit about the history of UK collecting.

I went there a few weeks ago and I saw a few loosies. There was a tautaun without any accessories selling for around 20 pounds! Funny because I went to a vintage toy shop in Manhattan last April and the guy there also told me there is no market for vintage SW so the owner doesn't keep them on...

Wow just read this. What the hell is wrong with these people???? I have a couple of TTs too but I'd rather cop the financial loss and have some honour rather than selling them on, especially without a disclosure.

Nice thread. It's funny, I was only thinking about this yesterday. I always hear collectors talking about their childhood collections and they often seem to remember all the figures they had and many of the functions/designs of the toys. I have a good memory in general and I was a huge SW fan...
