I imagine he was quite happy back in the day leaning up against a window in someones bedroom? His legs were below the window pane and the magnified heat of the day relentlessly melted his torso etc..? HELP ME, I'M MELTING!

What's your most & least favourite type of SW toys to collect?

UPDATE ON MINE Twin30mm reminded me, those Micro Machines diecast shite! What the f*ck? Solid metal toys, such fun not! If you ever want early retirement never invest in these. I used to buy/sell vintage SW in mid 90's and was always stuck with those buggers!

What's your most & least favourite type of SW toys to collect?

MOST FAV: 3/4" Figures, MOC or loose. Secondly, 12" Figures in boxes. LEAST FAV: Playsets. They always have a piece missing! Secondly, comics.

    Old Comic Star Wars Adverts

I have a load of British comics at my Mums house. Lots of them from the early 80's are flooded with Star Wars/Empire adverts! The artwork is full of nostalgia and really captures the design & print methods of that era. I'll try dig some out and post my findings

    Why the Han head swap?

[Han Solo features one of the most obvious variations. Kenner first released Han with a small head, which was replaced by a larger head that looked a bit more like Harrison Ford. Kenner seems to have overdone themselves since the second head looks a bit too large. The small head was mostly...

    Does size matter?

I got chatting about the size of items in another post and thought it would make for a great topic! Think (Falcon/Rebel Transporter/At-At/12" Figures) as examples. Space is always an issue with collections so does this affect demand? When buying figures it doesn't even cross my mind! When...

    Are prices going up?

Agreed. I watched a link from this forum which was a documentary in one of those American hypermarket places back in 1979 I think? It was talking about the new movie coming out (Empire). The reporter was asking customers, children & parents, why and which toys they prefered? The main reason...

    Are prices going up?

I have a theory related to the above and other items. Think (Falcon/Rebel Transporter/At-At). I've always been surprised at how reasonable these prices have remained over the years. These never seem to skyrocket to silly prices? They are all large items, could this be the related reason like the...

    Are prices going up?

The trouble I've always found with the 12 inch series was the amount of accessories and getting a complete figure has always been difficult! There always seems to be 'missing accessory A' which is a bummer because the item always displays well in the beautiful box but you know it's incomplete...

    Are prices going up?

Loving the graphs. Don't forget the 12 inch figure line was notoriously less popular than the 3/4 inch line leading it to be discontinued after ESB's IG88 I think? This could historically be true and could even now be the case in terms of popularity. (Maybe it's a lack of space thing) :lol...

    Are prices going up?

Yes that's what I was meaning. If people go through bad times (financially) there will always be opportunities out there to buy items if not cheaper at least at a fair price. Everyones different of coarse, some will hold on to their goodies no matter what but items will always come onto the...
