The AFA population report would be interesting but then again it obviously only counts those figures that have been graded by them. There are plenty of rare ungraded figures out there as for example the Palitoy Fett. I wonder if the new owner will get it AFA graded? :)

Hi all, With the recent sale of the rare Palitoy Boba Fett at Vectis and the mention of there only being four or five MOC examples in existence it got me thinking about what is the known population of rare MOC Star Wars figures? I would love to know what the top five or ten rarest known MOCs...

Very true but that is collectors for you. Some areas of collecting go way over the top when it comes to the handling and conservation of items. This is why I feel this whole lighter fluid debate is important.

Just my two pennies' worth. As far as I'm aware lighter fluid evaporates very, very quickly and leaves no residue so the period for potential damage is immediate. You would notice any damage upon application and I would imagine that there is no 'ticking time bomb' due to the full evaporation. I...

Thanks Joe for posting the pic. I trawled eBay when Spoons mentioned it but couldn't find it. Does look like they forgot the text originally and stuck stickers over to amend. Cool spot on the Jabba's Dungeon error.

Thanks for the information, much appreciated. The sticker is clear so the background can be seen through it. Looks like there was no printing in that place on the card back.
