Sy Snootles and the Rebo Band Tri Logo

Can anyone help me out with a valuation on this? Box is same condition all over, has original catalog inside and everything is still sealed in its plastic/baggies inside. Cheers!

    Replacing wiring/electronics in vehicles

Ok stripped it down again to try the motor, motor works, wiring all works (connecting a 9v to the two battery compartment wires directly, used the switch and it worked). When I stick batteries in though nothing. I'm guessing those tiny little metal contacts are knackered or something. I've tried...

Taking apart a vintage B Wing

No worries, wasn't sure where to post it so I stuck it in the vehicle repair topic. As for the stickers, not sure on that, maybe someone else can answer? I'm guessing perhaps a glue stick (had a search around the forum), its water based so won't cause any permanent damage to the surface of the ship.

    AT-AT with green base

Wow knew you could get the discoloration but not that much, learnt something new there, its been like it since I picked it up years ago. Cheers for taking a look everyone :) I'm happy with it since it doesn't look like damage (to the untrained eye), bit unique. I've got another in storage...

    AT-AT with green base

That back hind leg screw hole has some glue on it as there's a cracked part, also just where the leg clips in there's a black scuff on the surface, might be what you are seeing. Definitely not pained, scrubbed and cleaned the whole thing also checked out the broken part and the colour goes all...

    AT-AT with green base

Really? I have some discolored stuff but I've never seen anything to this extent, the colour seems perfectly uniformed over the entire base with no variation (even inside the screw posts that are hidden away in the body) and the green is really solid/vibrant, almost looks like its a different...

    AT-AT with green base

I've got two AT-AT and one of them has a green underbelly, the other is grey. Just wondering if anyone knows what the difference is? I thought possibly that one is Empire and one is Jedi but looking at images both seem to be grey. Any ideas?

Taking apart a vintage B Wing

It's easy enough, you shouldn't have any problems with it, the only tricky bit is hooking the wings when it goes back together but its not too bad, just takes a bit of faffing I've posted a guide in this topic http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=8915&p=224593#p224593

The vehicle electronics repair walkthrough thread

Heres a guide for stripping the B-Wing and getting to the electronics then assembling again, hope its useful! If so and people want I can do some others for other vehicles I have. Should be pretty easy just taking it apart and being gentle with the parts, remembering what goes where. 1) Flip...

    Replacing wiring/electronics in vehicles

Perfect suggestion thank you! Just opened up my AT-AT again and jumped the motor directly with a 9v battery and now they whole thing works. Tried the same on my b-wing and the motor works directly but doesn't as part of the circuit, going to clean the contacts and switch again but not having...

    Replacing wiring/electronics in vehicles

I've cleaned the contacts on them and opened them up and spun the motors for quite a while which seem to spin freely, don't feel stiff or anything. Still didn't work after this. Should I give WD40 a go? I wouldn't have thought this would make much difference if they are spinning ok already?

    Displaying and sun damage

Don't know if I'd get away with that! I'd need at least 45 squares!

    Replacing wiring/electronics in vehicles

I've got a few vehicles with motors that don't work any more (well assuming that, it could be the wiring or contacts). What are peoples views on rewiring them and replacing the motors to get them working again? It would be easy to do but how does this affect the value? On one hand I feel its...

Taking apart a vintage B Wing

    Displaying and sun damage

Cheers for the link, just ordered a sample of the 70 stuff so will see what its like. Could turn out to be a pig of a job as my windows are loads of separate small panes rather than one big one and there are three massive full length windows to do :P All worth it in the end!

    Displaying and sun damage

Thanks everyone, I'll have a search about the forum some more too. If you have the link db94 that would be awesome. x-pack - Most of it is packed in plastic storage boxes in a cupboard currently. really want to get a few bits on display so I'll have a look at the UV film and perhaps see if I can...

    Displaying and sun damage

Hey, Just wanted to know what others thought of this (its probably a very straightforward answer), I have the Ikea glass cabinets like I've noticed a lot of others do. I used to display other stuff in there but since getting my SW collection back I'd like to get more of it on display but I'm a...
