The cardback doesn't prove much at all really, it would have to have the bubble attached (there have been a couple of examples in the past including Jason's). I also note that the tears on Andy's cardback were probably too high up for a VC bubble (which are smaller and the top edge is lower)...

Wildlife photography mainly so more likely to be badgers than beavers :lol: That Cantina set was a good example of where (for once) U Grading didn't do much harm. The mailer boxes were crappy looking plain things but the figures were graded in their sealed baggies with the opened boxes...

You'd have to do better to offend me :lol: Ah the old Cantina set went a long time ago. Now am I missing the Palitoys? Good question, not yet, but its summer and I've had other things to occupy my mind. When winter comes around and I watch the films again then I probably will get a craving...

Does the fact that Dave Prowse used to own it really add anything to the value? Probably not at all. I'd concentrate on selling it to someone who likes 70/80's US cars. I think Autotrader might be the place :wink:

Looks ok at first glance. The giveaway is often the shape and fit around the legs if you could do a close-up of that area. Its also wonky, I'd think a fake one would have been put on straighter.

The Master Replicas ones were very good (I can't remember if eFX were taking over their production or whether Hasbro got the deal). At some point I was planning to modify one with a luxeon LED set (much brighter) and detachable blade but I never got around to it. Play.com used to sell them...

That's true Steve. I used to use a small oil radiator which had an LCD screen and a temp sensor. I set it so it wouldn't drop below 10 degrees in winter and in summer you could open the velux windows if there are any. The remaining condensation can be dealt with using the granules and...
