It depends how mint you want them, people will pay a premium for mint, on some figures a truly mint one could be double the price of an average/nice one.

I don't think these appearing in lots will be an issue really, I don't think these kind of toys get taken out of the packaging nowadays do they, they seem to be aimed at adult collectors who display them rather than children.

I wouldn't trust doing that through Ebay, as someone said the figure could easily be switched and the buyer will try and send the fake one back, and Ebay usually always side with the buyer.

If it’s the same as his Luke Stormtrooper I don’t think he’s putting any COO or date stamp markings on them so hopefully they won’t be passed off as the real thing.

I think also it has a lot to do with that I used to look after my toys and a cardboard toy like that would have been easily destroyed when my friends came round to play.

Never been a big fan of these cardboard playsets, even as a kid I thought they were a bit naff which is probably why I had none, am I the only one who thinks they are a bit rubbish ?

Sums up why I don't like grading, £10k for some random's guy's opinion on what condition it's in, the frightening thing is there's so many people who fall for it.
