A story with a happy ending!

Thanks and I can sympathise as this exact same scenario happened to me. The training ball arm lasted one session with the kids. I had to buy a replacement cockpit window too. And the gonk droid mysteriously disappeared never to return We did have fun recreating the battle of hoth last week...

A story with a happy ending!

Like most on here I had a large collection of the range back in the early 80s. I kept it all pretty meticulously as a child and had so much fun playing with those figures and ships. I kept it all in my parents loft for decades after. Then around 2013, I gave a large part of it away to a family...

    At at driver with weapon

The at at driver was always one of my favourites as a kid - just like a cooler version of the stormtrooper with more colour and detail. I was looking on eBay and for some reason there seems to be a far higher proportion of figures that come “complete” with original weapon than most others. Is...

    Paploo and lumat

picked up Paploo and lumat last 17 nice examples on eBay. However these seem to be unique in my collection in that they have no COO bar or year stamp at all. Is this normal for these two figures?

Has the pandemic changed your attitude to your collecting?

Picked up a lumat, but it came with a warok quiver. Does anyone have a lumat quiver they want to swap for a warok one?? Thanks

Has the pandemic changed your attitude to your collecting?

This sums it up for me. I’ve had a desire to go back to happier times this last year as we all have. So I Have bought some of the old things that remind me of that. Star Wars was such a huge part of my childhood that yes I suppose it’s been like a bit of a regress. I’ve found it satisfying and...

    Rotting /mouldy scout walker

I’ve tried vinegar, baking soda, fairy liquid. It damn stinks. But yes maybe I will try to flog. Will be very honest about the state though. Anyone know what the offending infection is - mould? Very strange.

It really smells I’m afraid and the plastic is breaking down badly. If you run a nail over it it just scrapes away

Yeah I took that view. I’m going to bin it. I’ve taken the top gun and the side guns and chest plate off as they are made of a much harder plastic and seem to be fine

    Rotting /mouldy scout walker

Hey guys. Just a question I have picked up a vintage ATST but there is a type of what looks like fungal bloom and a very strong musty smell on the plastic. The plastic looks to be breaking down too. Has anyone has this - and Any ideas or fixes?
