Seen quite a few up for sale over the months, which are kenner. Am I correct in thinking that the palitoy version is in shorter supply, as I can't remember the last time I saw one up for sale?

I would say so, or from amazon. You can cut them and join them together with adaptors, check before you buy, plus you can change the colours on some as well.

What about a type of mirror finish on the unit backing, you might see the rear of the figures in the reflection ?
