The A-wing Pilot was one of the few last 17 I had as a kid. I remember at the time thinking, what was the point of having a figure when there wasn't even a ship for him! I was very surprised when I saw one in A Sansweet book. Even more shocked when I eventually saw one for sale!

Thanks guys Was an interesting set to attempt. When I started in 2004, 7 out of the 50 were not known to exist and of the remaining 43, 9 had not been seen as sealed examples. So was not sure a full set was even possible/achievable!

😁 I don't actually remember how I ended up with so many at once. Sold most of them, just kept an unused boxed one and a loose complete one.

Here's a focus I completed a few years ago - The first 10 ESB Characters MOC on every Palitoy ESB card - 30a, 30b, 41, 45a and 45b. Took me around 16 years to complete

Screw what others think. I have no issues/embarrassment at all with collecting. Never have. Anyone who has said/hinted at something negative about it in the past, has been very quickly told where to go! 🖕 On the other side of it though I am also very careful of not forcing it on others...

My thoughts were that if I pass suddenly, give the lot to Vectis and try to negotiate a better sellers premium. If I knew in advance that my time was coming and there was enough time, I'd probably sell some choice pieces to people who would want them, then give the rest to Vectis.
