Hi, I'm moving on a few spares and oddments.... Palitoy X-Wing. Box is superb on this one with and only minimal wear and ageing. Insert is very nice. The toy is the weakest link having discoloured in places. Used sticker sheet and catalogues included. SOLD (£165 posted UK)...

    Vintage model kits

Thanks for the info Craig, you clearly know your stuff!! Love that Y-Wing! I recall the early (SW) kits being re-issued as commemorative editions around late 80s, perhaps old stock with a new sticker? Yep, those Structors were crap! Seemed like a bad attempt to mimic Zoids that were around...

    Vintage model kits

Hi, is there a guide to the vintage kits released circa 1978 anywhere? I think I'm right there were 5: Vader/3-PO/R2/X-wing/Tie Everyone seemed to release these...Denys Fisher, Palitoy, MPC, Airfix, Ertl (late 80s reissues?). Why so many companies??? Anyone know the background and who...

    Vectis 25-6-2015

Bugger! I'd hoped to pick up at least one of those point of sale items, especially the ESB soundtrack display> I went quite high on these but everything went out of my budget. Oh well, another day.

Why was Grand Moff Tarkin excluded from the original run?

There was a friend at school who was into SW figures as much as I was and swore blind his Dad brought him back a Tarkin from a trip to the US. (Somehow it then got lost before the next time I went round his house...)

Sealed Palitoy mail away Emperor/Rancor Keeper

Thanks for the feedback Frunkstar. I've a few sealed (and unsealed) Emperor's plus a couple of Rancor Keepers. There's no mention of Palitoy on them, just the absence of Kenner anywhere - boxes are completely plain with no printing, 'baggies' just state 'Made in Hong Kong'...so can I conclude...

Toni has become more active on ebay

Thanks JuniorChubb! I doubt its been affected much, if at all ,to be honest. Brighton is a busy tourist city and such is the general appeal of what I sell - a mix of old and new plus the gift end of SW memorabilia - I'd imagine 99% of customers wouldn't be aware of any controversy. We're a...

Toni has become more active on ebay

Hi Pigcitty, Good to meet you this morning (small planet!) Thanks for recommending this site and indeed highlighting that I'm a separate entity within Snoopers. I did sign up awhile ago but have only dropped by occasionally, as whilst I've kept my hand in dealing in SW over the years its only...

Toni has become more active on ebay

Hello! I am a stall holder at Snoopers Paradise in Brighton, selling Star Wars toys amongst other SF toys and memorabilia. In response to assumptions made in this thread I'd like to establish that Stall 83 is run by myself, Tim Drummond, and has NO connection to Toytoni's business. (My stall is...
