Three Position Laser Rifle - The Two Ronnies

I was watching the Two Ronnies sketch 'The Worm that Turned' and the Secret Police all had the 3 position laser rifle (albeit painted silver). Good choice of prop!

Long Time suspected FAKE baggies scam / seller

Poor Marty. I think Jeff should make you whole. Quibbling over a fake bag being opened is just really, really petty. My blood boils for you mate. I believe that Marty's transaction is certainly one of the bigger ones of which is public knowledge and if Jeff handled this one properly it would...

    Response to Claims

Could this be why there is a short refund period. I suspect if everyone clamoured for a refund he would be in financial strife. From Jeff's point of view, I guess a token refund period would show he is doing the right thing whilst not taking a gargantuan hit in the wallet.

    Why didn't they make Tarkin?

These are really age old questions and I don't believe there has been a top level definitive answer, just theories: - Kids didn't want to play with an old man toy (see Imperial Dignitary  ) - Why make a figure that dies (see Kenobi firstly and most SW characters thereafter) - Cushings...

Long Time suspected FAKE baggies scam / seller

I was explaining the 'Jeff' subject with a friend last night and he says that Jeff had contacted him regarding a collection of figures that he was selling on eBay back in late October 2016. Jeff offered £300 for a pale blue tri-logo Boba Fett (great condition) which was amongst the collection...

Did you used to like putting the wrong figure in a vehicle?

I used to use Hoth Rebel Soldier as Han Solo until I realised it wasn't Han Solo when I was small. Things you remember!

    Bring it on He-Man

There was a sequel planned by Cannon movies, they were in the toilet financially and created sets and costumes for MOTU 2 - used said sets and costumes for the Van Damme movie 'Cyborg'. Further reading: http://thecomicscode.weebly.com/masters-of-the-universe-2.html

    Argos catalogues

I've got a few Argos books in .PDF format. I first looked at the toys... Then looked at the rest of the catalogue - all I could keep saying was "we had that lampshade, that toaster, that TV, that bedside lamp, hairdryer, typewriter etc..." Clearly my family bought plenty from Argos over the...

    Watching old reruns

Also if you recorded any of these films off of the tv from back in the day you'll remember where the adverts were. If I watch a DVD of say Star Wars and at certain moments I can remember the old Betamax where the adverts would cut in. If any of that makes sense.

    POTF vs Tri-Logo Vs...

I'm certainly no expert but I think when the collecting bug takes hold of you and you're looking for your next purchase you'll end up learning a lot of things by accident, such (rough) prices, general rarity, most desired MOC/loose figures. The more hours you sit reading this forum, eBay etc it...
