Loving the group photo. Really incredible stuff.

I have a liking for this figure too...

Good, good. Collect more Rebel Soldiers. Han's a terrible figure to collect. :D Seriously though, great focus. Glad to have helped add a couple of those.

best material / glue to use for resealing

Here is the best method I have ever seen to deal with gluing a bubble back on the card back: (1) Find a brick wall (2) Bring your head as far back as you can (3) Bash said head into said wall (4) Repeat as many times as necessary until you no longer want to glue a bubble back onto a card back

    Sales post

Bingo. First in line should never be a rule. Neither this forum or any other is a land grab where people can lay a claim by putting their family flag into the ground first. Lol If the first guy to pm me is someone I don't like or I know is just gonna flip it right away, why should I have...

German 3 Pack - Speeder Bike Set

that's a hell of a thread, Joe. Any sense what the guy's name was that did that if he is still around? I didn't see a name - hopefully I didn't miss it.

    Spoons Han Hoths

Spoons delivers! As a fellow Han collector, this really blows me away. And to think you are so close to finishing the full Kenner run.....wow Andy! What's your favorite piece? I love the Clipper 65D and the Model Trem!

    Toy Fair NYC 1980 pics

I think it's generally frowned upon to post someone else's images elsewhere without asking their permission first. Most likely Ed would have granted your permission had you asked (as you said, he posted to a wide audience already and probably knew there was a risk people would lift those...

    Toy Fair NYC 1980 pics

That was cool of Ed to give you permission to post here. Assume you asked, right?

What is considered an acceptable mark-up?

Perhaps you have seen this posted elsewhere, but I have written an article that proposes that not all forms of flipping is bad and suggests some guidelines as to how to buy and sell if you want to do so in a courteous and conscientious manner, and one that won't give you a bad name in the hobby...

    Toy Fair NYC 1980 pics

No good deed goes unpunished, dude. Was good of you to post it. I am friends with the guy that posted - Ed - and if people really can't be bothered to come to the group to look at his post, but still want to see these amazing images, let me know and I can ask Ed if we can post here. Of...

THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 21 LAUNCHED

Amen to that bro. Would be sweet to see a row of those together. Yehuda Kleinman has several of the Toy Fair Leias - maybe he can recreate it someday.

Historic find to be disclosed on 12 back Facebook group tomorrow

As I said above, Edd, this is the exact write up of the piece that was just found; it wasn't an earlier example. Further, the two rockets being intended to come with the Fett was already a little known fact as it appeared in the advertisement for the Rocket Fett mailer that appeared in the 1979...

Historic find to be disclosed on 12 back Facebook group tomorrow

Yep, this is the first and only complete preproduction sample mailer for the rocket firing Fett that has been found. There is nothing very special about the box (which is the same as production boxes for the static rocket Fett mailer) or the baggy (although it is slightly different than the...

The SWCA link Edd posted is the write up of the same item Darrell posted in the 12 back group.

Intergalactic Talking Heads: A Vintage Collector's Review of Star Wars Collecting Podcasts

If you get a second, check out my recent post on the SWCA blog. It's a review of four collecting podcasts, including the lads at the Vintage Rebellion, which shows I highly suggest you check out. A humorous, as always, intro from Ron Salvatore as well: http://blog.theswca.com/

How much are you prepared to pay?

Common items like most loose figures and most MOCs, you have to set a limit. That limit of course depends on the item, but patience is key when it comes to finding stuff for reasonable prices on the common stuff. Pick a price at the low end of the reasonable range, and wait for your...
