I would add the Collector Galaxy Podcast to that list too. I don't believe they were around when I did the article. The hosts really love vintage and are very entertaining. You won't be blown away with info you didn't already know, but they do a good job of mixing vintage and modern.

I bought it a good year and a half ago from Jordan H when I was building a beater MOC run of the first 12. Tried to (unsuccessfully) remove some of the mold from it, and then sold it off soon thereafter. It's a hot potato!

Andy, these are fantastic! As a display collector, I don't think there is much else that compares to the visual appeal of the store displays, especially the early, SW ANH ones with the black background and the iconic racetrack. And the die cast ones nail your focus and look great to boot...

All great advice - especially the stuff about being patient and only buying stuff because you like it, not because it will be worth a lot. The general advice I have kind of combines those: Spend at least a few months on the sidelines before making ANY purchase other than maybe a loose figure...
