I wonder what I will find at the local car boot sale this year?

Well that's a great recent haul you have there! Are these car boot finds or toy fair ones? Ian

    Grading is b

It's pretty dodgy looking, especially when one of the owners of Heritage Auctions had to pay over $1M in damages for the same sort of thing back in the 80's. Ian

    The Morphy Find...

That makes more sense and gives every who wants in a chance at getting something nice for their collection. This will be interesting to see where it ends and what difference in price some of the multiples end up being. I remember the Vectis Auction with multiple sealed Palitoy Death Star play...

    The Morphy Find...

i had heard about this find but didn't realise that there were at least 5 DT carded Lukes in the lot, that's really amazing and it makes you wonder what this lot's going to go for (although I think it's going up as one lots which surely isn't the best way to sell these?). Ian

latest film/ dvd you have seen

I'll just wait for it to be streamed and asI doubt this one will do the numbers they need so there may only be one more film to come as JC mentioned doing this if there wasn't the appetite for part 2. Maybe we could be thankful for small mercies. Ian

    Terry Hall RIP

Couldn't agree more with the above, a sad loss for sure and one of the greats is lost but not forgotten. R.I.P Ian

Items as present Haed Office Galoob 20 years ago

Never seen these items but hopefully someone on here will have some thoughts on them. Just wanted to mention though that it's not the tail that's bend on that starship but rather the front of it (it is interesting to view this ship around the other way though). Ian

Red Five Designs - Kenner Star Wars Toy Guide

just received mine today as well and looking forward to getting stuck into it. I knew this book would come off in the end (there were definitely some doubters out there), and I just wanted to say a big well done to the team that put this together. Ian

thoughts on Jawa claiming Toltoys cape

As above, looks to be a Ben cape and it should have tight armholes to be any sort of VCJ so that's always a giveaway. I also think the Oz one has a more red look to it than a Ben cape (although that could just be lighting), and most of the Jawa's I've seen with a VCJ have blue/green spots on...

    Vinyl caped Jawa's

Over the years I've had 2 AFA 85's and 2 UKG 85's and the UKG ones were both noticeably better looking than the AFA ones. I've also heard though that it's the other way around for mocs so who really knows what goes on. AFA is still more desirable though but I'm surprised that these are still...

    Vinyl caped Jawa's

That just seems crazy for a loose figure like this. Ian

    Kevin O'Neill RIP

It is a real loss for sure and I've been re=reading some early frogs for a while now and been amazed at the detail he would put into every panel. Sad news and R.I.P. Ian

Hi all, My son has been after a Lego Simpsons house for a long time now and as it's approaching Christmas I wondered if anyone has one that they're looking to sale? Let me know if you do and all the best, Ian

I wonder what I will find at the local car boot sale this year?

I've always thought it looks like a C-3PO KO and these figures came out in the late 70's, early 80's to cash in on the SW craze. Here's my collection of them and also some 8" ones I have, see if you can spot some SW similarities lol! Ian

I wonder what I will find at the local car boot sale this year?

Great selection and I'm a big fan of the green Tomland, C-3PO KO figure, love that toy line :) Ian

    Latest Acquisitions

Absolutely, and Chewbacca was the Pailtoy 12 back reseal that I ever had with a SKU footer. I think a few of the other Palitoy 12 backs have also been found with this earliest style of footer but I've never seen any pictures of any others. Great little extra you picked up there :) Ian

    Latest Acquisitions

That's a massive achievement and look at that price, I never saw a few go for that cheap back in the day! Congratulations on completing the run, especially after so many years and it also looks like you might have an SKU footer in there with the rounded front corners!? Ian

    Vinyl caped Jawa's

I sold my last UKG 85 a few months ago for around £2.5K, so I'd say they have risen a bit. Ian
