I was going to say 1983 as that was the year for Jedi's release and remember that the first 12 have coo stamps of 1977 but weren't released until 78. Mike confirms this 83 date with the rebel sum link above (that's if they're right?!), and I remember getting my mail away Boba Fett in the summer...

I had tears in my eyes of joy watching this. This really is what I've been waiting for since R1 and hopefully it will deliver on the potential that it has. It also looks to be the most cinematic out of any of the series, so I can see Disney have invested large in it. Can't wait :) Ian

I'm thinking that I had Steve Austin the year I could maybe have had Evel. My mate had one and I remember it being around the same Christmas so it could be as simple as that (and probably the price difference). Ian
