Palitoy Snowspeeder with Bounty Hunter images

Well a loose complete one is normally £40 alone so you got a bargain IMO :)

Palitoy Snowspeeder with Bounty Hunter images

Pretty common piece mate, nothing amazing, certainly not in that condition. If the vehicle is all there and it has the instructions then about £75. Box condition on these is key. A mint one would be over £100 easy.

THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 62 LAUNCHED

Another cracking show lads. A lot of people have no idea how much hard work, time and effort is put into each show, I just want to say a massive thank you for creating something that I look forward to and something I think has become essential listening to for anyone collecting vintage Star Wars...

    Wouldn't miss it.

40x loose Star wars figures and accessories 1977-85

Firstly, welcome. Secondly, there'll be a lot of interest in this lot if those weapons are 100% legit. Thirdly, you'd have been better coming here first asking for advice rather than listing it on ebay then 'phishing'. You'd have also been better selling on here individually as you'll get more...

    Palitoy 20 backs....why???!!!

We're in direct competition now Lee! :D I'm currently fighting a war on 3 fronts - 20 backs (only Power Droid so far), 30 backs (only need 6 to complete) and the 45a's (5 down so far) - basically I decided to do a debut run, minus the Zuckuss and Jedi cards, but I won't rule anything out. I...

Andy Preston's showcase - British SW memorabilia

Those childhood pics are absolutely priceless and without doubt the coolest BITD pics I've seen in a long time. Wow! So cool to still have those images, must bring the memories flooding back. Great work on the continued development of the site too Andy 8)

Forum Playset of the Year 2019 - Final

No brainer for me - Palitoy DS every time. A design classic and worthy of all the accolades it receives.

    Latest Acquisitions

Wow, that large head Han is a find and a half, as Andy says, a rarity in any condition. Is the bubble on this different from the small head too? Well done mate :)

    The next FF.

Respect the desicion Dave, you might find a break will recharge the batteries and get everyone fired up for the next one - too long without an FF is bad for you. As always, just let me know if you need any help with anything.

    41 discovered card Proofs

Another thing to note is the hole punch - this would never be printed and appear on the card.

ESB Imp Stormy 32 Back another Project/Rescue

Nice piece Mike! A Hoth Trooper focus collector would go nuts for this! How did you manage to eliminate the wave in the bubble? I've always had problems with this myself, boxes are a piece of cake as they iron out fine but MOCs have always been harder to do.

    41 discovered card Proofs

Litho print doesn't run like this in my experience. Water does not affect the ink in that way, it damages the card sure, but the inks won't run. This looks like inkjets to me. To find such proofs in the UK like this would be very strange, especially the 12 backs. The colours also look washed...

    Finally after 20 years....Palitoy 12 Backs complete

Outstanding and I echo Ian's points about re-seals. I will go one further and say putting together any re-seal run is just as hard and in some cases harder than the MOC route. I see way more MOC's for certain figures than I do re-seals. Well done mate, now relax, enjoy them for a while and...

Die cast TIE Fighter MOC (Takara)

About right IMO, given the condition - and the Takara Tie is actually not as rare as you think, one of the easier foreign Diecasts.

Grading and shill bidding issues that have come up

Yep, 2 entirely different topics that are linked to the same issue. Grading. Never have, and never will be a fan of this personally BUT I understand it has a place in collecting and as such accept it's always going to be there. However, this current drama has raised a couple of questions to...

    Antiques roadshow

Took me a while to realise the Tie Pilot (and At At Driver) helmets are just stormtrooper face plates stuck into X Wing helmets

    Unique Action Figure smell!

So you did! I completely missed your post mate! Sorry! It was mentioned at the Palitoy talk last year too, I think one of the chaps said the figures were stored alongside the Strawberry Shortcake figures enroute from HK and when the container was opened they realised the Tie Pilots had the same...
