I think some of it may just have been that the figures I got on original Palitoy cards were some of the better figures to have (Stormtroopers, OWK, Luke FB, etc). Some of the figures I seem to remember being particularly badly painted/moulded. I haven't seen any difference in the figures I see...

I used to do a lot of eBay and PayPal stuff but grew to hate them both. I now use it to buy occasionally and that's it. I used to sell books, shipping them out of amazons warehousing, but it just became too much hassle for the money I was making and keeping my sanity.

I remember when I was a kid that all my figures were Palitoys until right near the end (when we seemed to get flooded with Kenner stuff). One of the things that stood out as a kid was that Kenner stuff seemed to be of worse quality. I don't know whether this was objectively true or not, but I do...

With a private auction I don't think I'll join in, whoever buys this lot I am definitely interested in a few loose pieces!

It's funny as we spent a half hour putting the cabinet together, I taught her about using screw drivers, allan keys, wiring, etc! It was a way to get excited about showing off those SW Minis she has in boxes!

I think if you are worried about the bubble bursting, you probably are not a collector as mentioned. It is more likely you are investing if you worry about value, I personally want a collection my daughters will love, i dont want to overpay, but some figures I want more so will pay for. BTW if...
