Cheers. I had about half the droids figures. (One of the limbs on the c3p0 was a repro, I tried to get a complete one for ages :( ). I also had several of the ewok figures but most were moc. Even back then it was almost as expensive to get a loose complete droids or ewok figure as it was a moc one.

I never had any die cast when I was growing up. Come to think of it I didn't even know they existed until mid 90's.

I'm probably in the minority here then. Although I absolutely HATE customs charges, If its a valuable item I either ask them to ship it via DHL (they use there own planes ect and don't display the value on the outside so you rarely if ever get customs charges) or If they are using usps I ask...
