Long Time suspected FAKE baggies scam / seller

Very disappointing. I imagine many buyers have paid 'that premium' thinking they are buying from a trusted seller and it turns out maybe they're being duped into buying fakes? So very sad if it turns out this seller has been defrauding folk for years. I think we need to start a new sticky...

    Loose Figure Packaging?

Any figure remotely expensive or more prone to damage I would always advocate sending boxed with lots of padding. That is certainly how I would want any desirable item I buy to arrive. That said, any standard figure can be send wrapped in kitchen towel and a padded jiffy bag in my opinion...

How much is too much? Boba Fett

Simply not true. i know many more experienced collectors who would only too happily help newbies learn and expand their knowledge. One of the first things I did on a SW FB page was try and help a guy who was limelighting a 'meccano' fett he bought which was just a taiwan CoO fett that had been...

It would only cause 'false' offense to the handful of first year students who believed they were as informed as the seniors who began their education in the very same field of expertise many years earlier. As long as newer collectors approach the subject with open ears and a willingness to...

I disagree here. I can search forums and find information from decades back, but FB posts get deleted, edited and removed at will, and once those comments are gone, they're gone forever. FB will NEVER be a reliable resource for learning because it only shows you what it thinks you might want to...

What is it you 'do right' exactly to accept credit? Press the blue button that says 'accept request'? FB will always be a fantastic platform for bringing people together and it is real easy to start a group and find likeminded individuals. There is certainly a niche market there and it suits...

Dengar - great variants available with this figure, and the sculpt/colour is very individual Greedo - soft spot for any cantina alien Luke X-wing - Again, a lovely sculpt that has prompted Hasbro to bring out about 100 other x-wing pilots, So obviously a cool original inspired sculpt

2017 Collecting Goals, hopes and dreams

Mine are almost unchanged from last year, as I achieved only one out of three! 1) Expand my COO variant thread with new figures and update old ones! I managed to achieve some solid updates 2016, and if I can achieve the same level of activity on it in 2017 I'll be very satisfied. 2) Try harder...

    No markings AT AT Driver

a worn mould is the most likely scenario which would produce a very faint virtually nonexistent coo stamp which as has been said above is pretty common with this particular figure. Clearer pic needed though really to confirm.

    No markings AT AT Driver

@ StarWarsFan, You could doing with adding a much clearer photo of the CoO to this thread so it can be judged easily, as its a bit blurry. Peace

    No markings AT AT Driver

No, very unlikely. short pours generally lead to a deformed end of a limb, as that is where the void would be. Would be very hard to pour in the molten plastic and have none of it touch the CoO markings but produce a perfect figure
