FFS. I mean, Cazza is a solid shoe in, but Carl deserves a solid shoeing. He's a very angry man, you know? He once threatened to insert a figures into my Sarlacc Pit. Seriously, congrats guys. Well deserved by two nearly very sensible forum members.

Diamond in the rough Luke Farmboy

Excellent find. Congratulations. Also admire your decision to keep the original figure with the sabre. As my idol would say: “He who dares, Rodders”

Archived SOLD Various Items for sale

If a seasoned collector sells something at a price they’re happy with that’s fine. If a dealer of any sorts asks a price then I won’t argue to pay more: they should know their market. But if a non collector is selling off their stuff it’s only fair. I suspect someone will have PM’d first to...

Archived SOLD Various Items for sale

I’d say you’re probably a bit cheap on this, but if you’re happy with the price I’d buy it.

Great stuff and variety as always. The mailing stand is awesome. Still regret passing one up MIB at my first FF for £40 :/ The Tupperware is cool. Learn something new everyday. But the winner by a country mile is he cardigan. Just how to display it?? So damned cool :)

    Lots of items for sale

Where abouts are you based? Would be interested in looking over the carded and loose figures.

Chris, I’ll have that ESB shelf talker please. Carl, you’re a star ;)

    SWFUK Annual Statistics

So true. Convenience does indeed win out of all other benefits nowadays as time becomes the only commodity that can't be bought or sold. Spending time here vs FB is a bit like my mission last Christmas to buy as much on the high street as possible and avoid the internet. Takes a bit more time...

    SWFUK Annual Statistics

Interesting stats and in line with what you see here in terms of activity. I’m trying to, and to a degree succeeding, spend less time on FB and more here. It’s like some tart from Love Island (sorry, don’t know any) vs. Cindy Crawford; uncouth, vacuous and nothing interesting to say vs. timeless...

    carded valuations please

I’d say higher on Chirpa as the card is so nice, maybe £70? B-Wing, whilst common is mint, so I’d (personally) pay £90-100 RK - yep, I’d have said £150 is about right but would have based most of that on the crispness of the card. Agreed on Teebo and GG. As for the others: Vader (cracked...

    Couple of Kenner rotj mocs...

Mighty effort, Carl, and couldn't find much there's I'd change :) If you do want to sell in one hit, bender76, by all means drop me a PM. If you want to sell individually then I look forward to the listings and will be watching for that Palitoy Fett in particular :)

Why pay to have anything graded? The inconsistency between the same grades is proven beyond doubt and yet grade chasers exist. But yes, grading takes on a new level of lunacy with (great!) pieces like this. Nothing rare for me but Matt Fox did a super deal on these two stunning condition...

Star Wars Scalextric Prototype - Battle of Hoth Set items - never released

Rob, amazing item. Having seen the photos of the “finished” set it’s a shame it never got made. Looks bloody brilliant and much better than the Speeder Bike set. How many full Hoth sets are there known to exist and if this is £1,500 for three bodies, single piece of track and box, what value...

Star Wars Scalextric Prototype - Battle of Hoth Set items - never released

Well, you find one for sale elsewhere or one that’s sold elsewhere. It was showcased at a Toy Fair in 2013 or so and a price set but it never made it to market. This is a very cool item and I’d love to own this sort of thing. Tough one to price, I’d say, as it’s quite a niche item.

    East Bristol Auctions

It did end up with Bristol TS who called me. The way it works now is you have to report the matter through Citizen's Advice Bureau and they pass it on to the local TS if it's appropriate to do so. Yes, Andy and Andrew are one and the same person. I have his surname but as this is more of a...

    East Bristol Auctions

I’ve reported East Bristol to Trading Standards in April 2018. TS actually gave me a call back and said they were going to be discussing with them “just how many offences they’d committed” . They were selling Real Ghost Busters proof cards as having been obtained directly from an...

    Special buy figure bag

Tough one to price. If it's a genuine one it wouldn't surprise me if someone forked out three figures for it. Bare in mind you can then stick your own mint figures or baggies in to make it look great on display again. Got any photos?

Great to see some bargains making up the thread here. Can't go wrong with a Rancor for a fiver and that's quite the haul for £50 :) Spoons, those soundtracks look mint. If I had a quid for every well used soundtrack I had I'd have at least a tenner... But those look superb and that poster is...

    41 discovered card Proofs

Shame it's not a new find but as all have said they are, without doubt, reproductions. The glue damage could well be from a water-based glue hence the inks have run and yet you can still feel the glue. Always worth checking these sorts of things out though. New items are being discovered all...
