    Today on Facebook...

I really can't understand why people pay so much money for production items, especially loose figures :( "Back in my day they were all £5 each and not a penny more"

What would you consider the rarest SW toy?

The second one I heard about was bought at a show in England in the 90's (NEC I think it was) so not Ireland but close enough... Not got much information on the third one but I do trust the person who told me it's out there so it certainly gives hope to more being out there somewhere!

What would you consider the rarest SW toy?

There are now 3 confirmed I believe but it is without a doubt the rarest Trilogo boxed toy that's for sure!

OT: Has anyone added a backdrop to their detolf?

That's a good shout Danny, do you have a picture of yours? Not sure if I can be arsed to take mine apart, might just cheat and cut it slightly smaller so I can stick it on from the inside  Matt- the fibre optic lights inserted in a black backdrop would look amazing!

OT: Has anyone added a backdrop to their detolf?

Slightly off topic but I'm looking at jazzing up my Detolf a little bit with a black backdrop (maybe some toy or film logos, not sure yet) has anyone done anything similar? I'm thinking the best thing to do would be to insert a single large piece of card (or whatever material works best) at the...

    Foreign MOCs

No probs, definitely a nice amount of money in them. BTW you would be best posting these on FB too in the ROTJ group in my opinion.

Brain fart, I totally meant Davies. Sorry Andy if you are reading

    Foreign MOCs

Without breaking it down and just so you have something to think about - I wouldn't advise you take any less than than $2k each for your Lili Ledy figures right now. They are in stunning condition. Paploo, Biker and possibly Nunb are slightly more common than the others and you'll probably get...

    Poon is back!!

I agree with the other guys, it's a cool custom and I'd rather see him do this stuff than anything else but he's the man responsible for all those fake stormtroopers & Vlix figures that are out there too. IMO he crossed a line when he went from making custom figures to exact reproductions and...

What would you consider the rarest SW toy?

Yes that's right, two of those were Andy Clarke's and one ended up with Darren (who is holding them in the picture). Darren explains more about that in the interview I did with him earlier this year: http://trilogo.info/trilogo-collector-interviews/darren-mcaleese/

What would you consider the rarest SW toy?

http://trilogo.info/features/general-madine/ At last count there were 27 Madine's and it's very likely there are 30-40 out there. While you can't call it the rarest SW toy out there it's still incredibly hard to find and obviously the number of Madine's out there dictate exactly how many...

    Bounty Hunters

Yeah I would agree with ponch. Greedo was a cool character and Han killing him in ANH is a pretty memorable scene but when I think Bounty Hunters I always think of the guys lined up on Vaders Star Destroyer in ESB. Apparently Yak Face was a bounty hunter too, at least that's what it says on...

Hoth stormtrooper fabrique a Macau trilogo MOC

I would agree, about £160-180 with the crack. If it was mint then it would easily be a £300+ figure. Great Meccano Trilogo!

how did they make coo scars?

As Wolff site explains, the raised parts on figures are actually formed from cavities within the mould. In order to erase the "Made in" COO you simply fill the text cavity which effectively erases the text from the figures leg. That process didn't have to be exact or perfect which is why so many...

Not at all. I believe discussion is good, as are debates. I'm definitely interested in other opinions! Even if I am "the collector that decided to classify stuff in a certain way" and your post was a dig..I am not offended by you questioning the term I came up with :) Well, the problem here is...
