    Miscards

Actually I remember now someone said the same thing when I showed it on TIG some years back. The back is a 41D.

This is one of the coolest I know of - not mine, but in a friends collection

Huge AFA graded production collection to be auctioned off later in the year

My copy arrived this week. Interesting catalogue to say the least! 300 pages worth. I organised this copy as Hakes recently got in touch with me to see if I was interested to include the results of these auctions in the Star Wars Tracker price guides. I am in the U.K., and I know they ship these...

    Kenner ROTJ Moc rarity

You know what, we are probably both correct - just depends on our starting assumptions and criteria :) I've just done the same thing but only include sales from the UK (first go were global stats). Quite a different story over the last year if you were trying to get one locally. Does that fit...

    Kenner ROTJ Moc rarity

If I look back several years, 77A is still the most common in terms of completed sales, by a long shot - that's what Vol(ume) 56 means. Below is graded and ungraded sales together. So I guess my point was I'd say a 77A is the easiest to get a hold of. I admit this is just Star Wars Tracker data...

    Kenner ROTJ Moc rarity

Going by the data in Star Wars Tracker over the last year, 77a is the most common for the Emperor - or did I misunderstand you?

VCJ Harbert Sticker MOC - Conclusion

Hi, I was wondering what the final word on that Vectis auction for the Harbert sticker VCJ MOC was? To refresh your memories, there were claims that it was two pieces of separate MOCs glued together and not a genuine item. I never heard how it ended up, anyone know? Cheers, Jared.

UK & US MOC price differences

Sometimes it can just be luck of a particular auction and everyone else is snoozing. But I think there are region price trends that can be exploited if you know what to look for. Below is one of the slides I did at celebration London charting the price of a loose set of complete first 12...

Valuation please- Palitoy Jedi Hoth Stormy

Hi, Below is some data in Star Wars Tracker for the 65D over the last year (ungraded prices). You would probably be able to sell around £150 if the condition is as good as you make out. Only thing going against you is that you will have to reassure people this is not a "toy toni" MOC.

    Star Wars Tracker Advice

Steve was a fantastic help fine tuning the end result, and giving it a good workout. This new version officially went live a couple of days ago (desktop, iOS, Android) - version 1.2.0. I'll be sending out mail shots to users very soon to alert them about the new functionality. But you can...

    Star Wars Tracker Advice

Yes, one of the core values of the Tracker is that it remains useful for collectors (and continues to improve). I've just finished this beta testing with a couple dozen willing collectors from the community. This update is a major addition to the portfolio management aspect of the Tracker that...

    Star Wars Tracker Advice

Hi, To the point of the original question - I think it's perfectly acceptable to determine a reasonable selling price from the Tracker data. For no other reason than the Tracker showing you actual realized selling prices for that item. These aren't collectors estimations, they are not a...

THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 39 LAUNCHED

Hi, Great show as usual, just an hour or so in but though I'd mention about the Star Wars Tracker - you can usually get a bit more detail about sold prices either with the raw data view, or drilling down on individual price points. I think the example Ewok Glider Stu mentioned at £70 was this...

    Are prices going up?

Trends are interesting. I made the cut to give a panel at Star Wars Celebration in London last year "Navigating a Bull Market for the Vintage Star Wars Collector". I was able to construct a graph to show market activity over the last couple of years. Here's an example slide charting the rising...

THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 35 LAUNCHED

Hi, Listening to the podcast today, great show as usual - enjoyed the Jabbas palace interview. Just one quick point about the last 17 / POTF discussion and the Gam Guard. There is one price in the Tracker that I do have, but you have to go back to Dec 2015 for it. It's an AFA60 graded price...

THE VINTAGE REBELLION : Episode 31 LAUNCHED

Just started listening, looking forward to getting through it over the break. As usual fun quiz to get things started. I was interested to see what Star Wars Tracker would say about the most common MOC tri-logos. Below is ungraded items over the last year. Pretty much inline with the quiz answers.

why are there loads of meccano jawa mocs about

As with everything at the moment, you need to see this in comparison with the rest of the market. And the fact is, that ... Oh ... actually I can't finish that thought as the stats don't support it! Was going to say that the Kenner cards are much more plentiful and they currently have an...

    Summer weather and MOCs

Hi, So we had nice stretches of warm weather this year during summer. I've just opened up a box that I've been storing my MOC in for many months. The cards seem more warped than I ever remember! Has this happened to anyone else? P.s. this iPad image upload is great!

Navigating a Bull Market for the Vintage Star Wars Collector

Hi All, Some of you may know me as the guy who runs Star Wars Tracker which Pete sometimes uses as part of his market watch duties on the Vintage Rebellion podcast. I was selected to give a panel at Celebration last weekend titled "Navigating a Bull Market for the Vintage Star Wars Collector"...
