I just read American Psycho by Brett Easton Ellis. To be honest I thought it was incredibly boring. The book is like parts of the film - the parts where Bateman is observing what people are wearing and where they are eating - well those parts make up 99% of what you read. The violence and sex are far more graphic, but it feels as though the author was just a massive pervert.
So yeah ...not a great book. Would not recommend.
