Hi everyone! Just started collecting star wars toys and looking to purchase a first 12 set. Found a seller with the complete set of 12 (with weapons) loose in good condition. What would be a reasonable price range for that? Thank you!

Actually 4-450 might be closer, although I'm certain I could do it for sub 350 with a bit of luck/patience

How much is the seller asking then? I just think in my head the first 12 loose are about £80 each! lol

If you work off £30 a go on average and then think a good Luke or R2D2 could be 70, I think low 400s is about right. Tips on the lightsabres still in place makes a difference.

As we know, all depends on condition - if mint, yes you're probably right. I picked up a decent Stormie and Obi-Wan with weapons not long ago for about £35 each +postage. Same with a large head Han Solo. Others will vary but Luke, Leia and R2 are still the toughies I think.

It will change over time, generally only getting more expensive. Here are latest price stats for last 6 months. Taken from www.starwarstracker.com. I'll let you add the numbers up ;)

Hello all
I've just cleared my loft of all my vintage SW collection and passed to Vectis.
Auction is tomorrow Thurs 23 Sept.
Approx 240 loose figures. Full set except for little head han & one of the luke farmboy variations, cannot remember if it is the brown or blonde one.
Loads of other vintage gear, some boxed, some loose.
My favs are the McQuarrie signed artwork with the light up film cell in the frame & the Kermit Skyhopper production cell, great fun.
It's been in my loft for almost 20years and it's all going.
Get bidding.

I am! lol Does that price guide include incomplete figures? Also graded figures inflate the average price.

If 21.99 is the avg for an R2, there is clearly a droid army of beaters out there! The range is £1 to £207, so I think you'd still have to shell out £50-£70 for a decent one.

LMAO! Try closer to £600 / £700 depending on comdition for realy good c9.5 examples. Based on 1977 figures :

Farmboy Luke nice stiff limbs and white with sabre with tip can fetch £100 easily
Leia nice and white with clean unripped cloak and correct blaster can see £120 and add another £100 for the TRUE black blaster
Solid head R2 average £70 nice and clean with good sticker
C3po nice and gold an easy £30
Death Squad Commander in good condition with blaster an easy £50
Stormtroper nice and white with stiff limbs and blaster an easy £60
Tusken nice and clean with good limbs and neat unripped cloak and gaffi stick is an easy £50
Chewie nice example with bowcaster is £45 all day
Han nice example with blaster £50+
Vader nice stiff with clean unripped cloak and tip on sabre is £70
Ben nice stiff with clean unripped cloak and tip on sabre is £65
Jawa nice example with clean unripped cloak and blaster £65

This lot with museum standard display case would set you back £1k

the op asked what good condition costs, not 9.5 gem mint. Also given your propensity for overpricing your own items I'll take your laughing emoji/reaction and wear it as a badge of honour

I'm looking to sell my First 12 at some point, all are pretty minty with weapons/capes and come on the display stand in a nice GW case. Prices seem to be all over the place right now.
