I must be the only one without a Palitoy Death Star
There was / is a death star booklet going on ebay.

No your not. lol

Although I could have sworn I had the booklet many years ago, but alas it's not with all the other catalogues and leaflets in a folder :?

Cazza those 12 backs!!!

That Wicket is stunning, welswookie. Congrats. 8)

And so is that Luke Hoth proof!! First addition in five years too. Must be a gigantic relief.

That Italian Super 8 is a peace of history in its own right. Are these still watchable?

What a beautiful display DR Ball!

Like many, haven't posted here for a while, but I'm hoping to make up for it with these. These have kept my collecting spirits going for the past few years:

Bought this 2 years ago. Not complete yet. Missing the insert and looking for a better box.

Got this from Nick (Nick_IoW) on the forum. Lovely sealed set.

Bought this stunning set last year from Jeremy (Snaketibe). Still looking for the original bags, the mirror stickers and a Palitoy Death Star catalogue.

Got this from an auction on Catawiki last August. The seller was the original owner. He had bought it in a sale, had put it in a cupboard and hadn't touched it for 30 odd years. This acquisition gave me back the bug. Hoping to hang on to it this time.

Hey. Id noticed you hadn't posted for a while. What a return. That ewok combat catapult is a beauty. Well done with that one.

The super 8 s are quite variable the UK and Spanish versions generally have gone quite pink with age. The German and Japanese ones are usually still good as they are on different film stock. I haven't watched this one yet but I believe the Italian ones generally hold up ok.

I have a similar thing with my card back collection, I'm sure I had my childhood Amanaman and Yak Face Trilogo card backs in the mid 90's but can not find them anywhere. I have all the other childhood card backs, really strange that those 2 are missing.

My first purchase from vectis. A sealed sarlac pit game. They took a while to ship but the packaging was impeccable

Emiel, you're welcome, it is so easy to send a link to make someone aware. 1 down, , 2 to go. Best of luck.

Had been thinking about getting an Admiral Ackbar for a while but the ones i found have either a yellow bubble or damaged card.
Found this one in a sealed in a plastic bag from the shop.
Great card and clear bubble. Just a small dent at the top of the bubble which i can live with.

Wow that Ackbar is an absolute beauty! There's something very special about clear bubble Jedi MOCs, we're just so used to seeing them yellow or cracked.

Great Ackbar find.
This figure is often overlooked, but for me the cardback is great.

I agree, the figure is often overlooked but has got to be one of the best sculpted figures out there.

Haven't posted for some time as life / work gets in the way and apart from the loft haul earlier in the year I haven't picked up anything, but a month ago I popped into our local comic / model shop and managed to get a really good condition y wing front end complete for £18 minus the pods and struts, (I had a beater for parts and some engine pods from the loft haul earlier in the year) anyway with a few konnex struts to make up the missing rails (not paying the prices these days for the real rails and a bit shorter than the real deal) :) hay presto my first ever complete y wing, on a budget ,still got to pick up the bomb but very happy. Hope every ones all ok at the moment :)
I really wanted one of these as a kid only had to wait 40 odd years for one , the ford escort estate of the fleet :D
Some really nice pickups on hear lately, I have always loved the Palitoy Death Star
