Hi all.

Anyone at a loose end on Thursday 20th September, a few of us are meeting up in town. We are going to have a drink at the bmi imax whilst Jason tries to buy some old coat then go to Covent Garden for steak and lobster (really. Surf and turf night at the big easy)

If anyone is interested.

Can't make it, but wish Jason good luck with the old coat, I suspect he will need deep pockets to afford it if it's the auction I'm thinking about !

Am looking forward to seeing Jason slap down a 1M bid on the Han Bespin jacket

So what time is the meet up?

Apparently the SW pieces r estimated to b going under the hammer from 7pm :!:
So what's the plans 2moro :?: :?:

Silence in the room...

Caught bits of Ben's live stream - thank you for posting it.
Did anyone note a list of key items and finish prices they can share?

Great auction, very good atmosphere.

Here's the catalogue with prices added. Solo jacket didn't sell as didn't meet reserve.

Jason
Thanky you for those impressions. Watched/heard the live stream over the day, but could not imagine how it would look in the audience.
To be honest I thought there were a larger crowd. Want one of those burgers ... right now!

It was brilliant. Everyone in there was drinking the free booze and having a great time. The hat was my highlight as we had a guy bidding for it in the room. Took it up to £300k as well.

I would highly recommend attending one of these. Not like any auction I have ever been to.

Glad to hear everyone that went had a great time.
Free booze and an auction, now that's one hell of a mix!
I wanted to get up to town and see this all on display a few weeks before the auction but never made it.
Shame really as there won't be the chance to see those items together again.
Looking at the results it appears some items went for a fair price :? , who wouldn't want a Nostromo space suit in their house for £8600 :D or theHiver board from Back to the Future for £36900!?!

A shrewd business move I might add on the part of The Prop Store. The cost of a few cases of fizz will quickly be recouped with the boost in bids it brings.

Certainly would, that's what happens to me on late on a Friday night when on FB!
