Help needed identifying this.....

Evening everyone.
Hoping to get thoughts and ideas on what this item (in my collection) is.
I have had it for bit now and it came from a house clearance company; who found it in a Dover house loft.
It looks to me to a mould for a Vaders head/helmet. It is styled very similar to the vintage 12' Vader but with key differences. It comes into 2 pieces with smooth finish to the outside. It plastic with two holes at the front

Not sure who to ask.........but to me it looks like some sort of carry case :?: may be wrong but worth a suggestion

Unlikely to be a mould, and an odd colour for a production Vader item. Not sure but looks like a display piece of some description, again odd colour though.

This is a weird one, never seen anything vintage that fits the bill, maybe a POTF2 display? Unpainted prototype for a instore promotion maybe?

The odd thing about it is the size and shape, to have the back of the helmet produced would imply that it sat in the centre of something rather than hung on the wall.

Sorry I can't be of any help identifying it but will certainly keep an eye on this thread as I'd like to know more about it.

Agree, having the back and size would suggest this. Good idea with POTF2 line... will have to start looking at this route as well. The style is what got me thinking Vintage hmmmm
