Thanks guys, I've since completed the first 79 run and have picked up a couple more POTF figures, so need to do new photos soon! Have even branched out in to a few variants

Thought I'd update the progress on my last 17 set:

file.php

Getting there slowly, a few could do with upgrades (or in EV's case major surgery!) but they're all original and have been reasonably priced. I owe a thanks to whoever my secret santa was a few years ago, a couple of the Ewoks are from you that I just had to find weapons for 8) Also thanks to Iain for the Paploo staff and Walkie for the A-Wing Pilot blaster.

If anybody has any of the six I need or can help with the missing EV-9D9 arm, please let me know :)

Great going Edd. All the more satisfying for being "on the cheap", relatively speaking. A loose collection is the most "pure" form of SW collecting. It's proper back to basics stuff and is great fun putting together. I'm still a couple of figures away but in no rush to complete.....there lies variant trouble!

Great stuff Edd. Your time frame and collection is similar to mine. Last summer I found my old figures and with forum members help have now got up to the first 79. I've not purchased many weapons, just because it seems too much hassle as I don't want to be caught with repro weapons by mistake. But your weapons look great so it may be something I'll do in the future.

I can highly recommend the Facebook groups for weapons, I have picked up many on there for reasonable prices. You have to be on there a lot though as they usually sell in minutes!

It's good to hear it is possible to replace all the weapons, guess that's my star wars hunting for the rest of the year :)

They look great, best way to collect... Don't worry about prices going mad, just keep your eyes open and stuff pops up from time to time. The fun is ticking them off the list as you go.

A great looking collection of loose figures you got yourself there.
After celebration got me my collecting bug bad, its loose that I'm concentrating on, I hope that I can pull of a set as good looking as yours.
