Garage load of vintage for sale - help!

Guys,

I need some help - someone has contacted me via gum tree about a garage load of vintage stuff he wants to sell. I've uploaded a sample of the things he has.

I'm not experienced enough to price correctly, and I definitely don't have the wallet!!

He is based in Watford, so if anyone is interested in a visit, please let me know. A guide on some pricing would be very helpful.

Apparently he has every figure on a card, all droids and ewoks and loads of boxed stuff. Lots of graded stuff too.

Holy crap - that is certainly an interesting lot

I would take great care with this one just because someone who has items like this would 1) know that they have and 2) probably wouldn't sell it through Gumtree !

Only joking. This is ringing all sorts of alarm bells. The vlix, Vcj, all those droids cards. You don't own them and not know what they are worth. You also don't keep them in your garage. You certainly don't flog them on gumtree. Not unless they are stolen. Be interesting to see if anyone lays claim to the photos.

Was his name 'Robin Sagoo' From Watford by any chance?

If so its a scam and avoid.

I know that I was contacted about the same 'garage lot' from a guy from Watford calling himself Robin Sagoo. A google search seems to identify a Robin Sagoo from Watford, working in the medical industry.

However, when requesting a viewing for evaluation I was denied and told the items would be posted to me and payment would be by banks transfer only.

I declined.

do they have cash on delivery in the UK..
Or letters of credit issued by the banks..?

Worth a shot to see what this guy says?

Ultimately, its a big stash and would cost a couple of hundred to post it..Can jump in a van and pick it all up..only a couple of hours away ...He wouldnt deny that unless he really is living up to his name

He is now telling me he has sold a lot already and has made £11k.

But will price up remaining items tonight and will let me know. I've told him I will take all of what is left.
