Wanted to get my act together and take some decent photos of my MOCs. I had sold all my pro camera gear, so without a speedlite, needed a light source that was constant. A little bit of research and I found this for just £20. Amazing value. Although I had still had a professional diffuser, you can use any kind of white sheet placed between the light and your items. The lamp gets very hot, so DO NOT rest it on the lamp. You'll have to play around with the lamp placement for best effect - even coverage, minimal shadow and reflections. On a side note, it came in handy when I had to change the bathroom light switch. We live in a flat with no bathroom window, so I could turn the flat's power off to the lights, but then plug this into plug-point to illuminate the area to see what I was doing

This C-3PO was done with just room and window light, and it has resulted in a lot of reflections. The 4-LOM with the lamp.
