I've just been on the Vectis website this morning and seen a Palitoy 30 back Yoda in the next auction, what kind of league is this in on a rarity level, I can't remember seeing one before, they have a price of £1200 but surely it will go for more!!!

Lol, I think you're kidding yourself. You can't just use one unrepresentative price as your benchmark and then when the next one sells for less say prices are dropping like a stone.
Someone clearly got completely carried away with the Greedo, perhaps because it was unpunched, and went nuts and paid way over the going rate which is nowhere near £3k. It was probably that gormless American with more money than sense. £800 is maybe a little lower than the going rate, but it's not a bargain price by any means. For the Lando, I'd have thought £600 is bang on the money, no discount there and the £1.5k is way out of line with what others have sold for at Vectis.
When the FX7 sold for £7k and then the next one for £2.5k had prices dropped like a stone? Of course not, £7k isn't the going rate for an FX7. There are always one-off prices that are out of the normal range but they should be considered exactly that, one-offs.
From what I've seen prices have held up really strongly considering how much stuff has been for sale recently.
stormcab said:True, but I didn't mean they'd dropped like a stone overall, just from some of the mental prices a few months back. Even some minor items like 12 back DSC. This shows a price decrease from the early part of the year.
