Great work Jez :D

I think a testament to the forum, is when a noob introduces themselves, they do get a number of welcome aboard messages in the thread, that to me really breaks the ice, so a welcome email I think is a cracking idea as well.

I know I originally approached the forum ( completely out of character for me) as I needed advice , slowly dipped my toe in the water, and was welcomed very early on by Andy Chaz B ....top bloke who made me feel really welcome, and to this day I regularly keep in contact, as I did with Jedi June ( who sadly doesn't post... Great guy).

I have made a number of " friends" on here and have honestly never once had any negativity since..... only welcoming.

Without being cheesy that is why I'm here, comradery, fun, great advice, and a merry band of like minded SW Nuts

So any noobs should def take the plunge, and anything we can do to welcome them is a good thing in my book.

So good on you Jezza :D

Can it perhaps be emailed or pm'd to new members when they've signed up?

How about a sticky, Edd?

And that's not a sticky Edd, but a sticky, Edd.

You know what I mean.

Isn't it basically the same as the sticky who's who thread?
