Is this figure on ROTJ cardback hard to come by?? Think this is the first one ive seen.

I found it rare. But when I mean rare I should specify that it's in the context of price as well. I have seen them for a lot of money that are normally AFA. This was £38. Took 2 years to find him at right price.

So it's not rare if money's flexible, then again what is. 8)

Wow, thats a good price, I was thinking it would be nearer the £75 mark at least. 10 more to go Grant, well done. I need I think around 45 for my ROTJ run.

Got the next chrome jobs in yesterday. Vader is awesome, IG-88 is meh and 2-1B rules even though they botched the job on his right pelvis. 8)

The fella had some other bits and pieces as well, I always remembered that someone on here had said that 'you wont get, if you dont ask'....I told him I was interested in one of the other cards and Offered €20 (£15) which he said ''ok so''.......Now, I'm no expert, but I think thats not to bad for a MOC, Tri-Logo Yoda  , There is a slight hairline crack in the bubble by the cane but as you can see displays great.....................

Lee, don't get upset, i respect you... but what the ****? Who the bloody hell is this fella? Yes i have heard he is some chap called vlix or vic or some kind of vapour rub, but i just don'e get it. I appreciate that there is a droids line etc, but this guy wasn't even in the films. I know its "Horses for courses" but i'd much prefer a genuine Luke Farmboy to some podgy twat who could do with a good stair master!

I've just realised my 6 hours on the sauce has left me fairly gobby!

Vlix is a pretty special piece by all accounts Jez. He is another example of a figure that never quite made it to mainstream production. If you think about it, many of the figures considered iconic today were actually figures that either saw limited release/ withdrawn from market or were left on the cutting room floor.

Rocket firing Boba Fett, Blue Snag, VCJ, Yak Face because he was never released on a POTF over here in the UK etc are all testament to this theory. The stories add something to the pieces and this is why items like this Vlix are so sought after. Plus he does look pretty cool from a "certain point of view."

Many well loved characters like Yak Face saw just a tiny fraction of screen time in the original films. This is not too different IMO.
