My childhood Vader had that thin extra bit on the sabre as did my Ben Kenobi, I still have the Vader although he's in poor condition these days but I can have a look at his stamp/markings if it helps?

I'm lucky that my Falcon is complete in that case, I know what you mean though, my Ewok Village is missing a drum I don't ever remember being on there in the first place.
No longer collecting, received an email this morning which reminded me of this forum and that I need to pull my finger out and find a new home for my childhood collection.
Thanks Mini, I always loved the Speeder and it's very clean and fully working plus it'll sit on a shelf without much bother. Luckily I must have removed the batteries before it went in the loft as the battery compartment is as good as new.
