My Vectis lot arrived today (Quite a while after the auction) - but all good. I see the next SW auction is on the 21st October- I've got two bids in, both modern (SAGA and EP1) - nothing on the Vintage side for me (at a price I'd pay...), although a few nice bits.

To be honest I think there is a bit of a market for this stuff - think of all the vintage stuff you have (or have had) where one bit is broken or missing and you'd rather just find an original part to fix yours rather than buy a new one - it is a shame when you think of a complete toy being...

So annoyed by that having paid full price for mine - that said I may get a second box to open....

Of the original topic - but yes - the Dark Horse comics were 100% better than what Marvel has put out the last few years. John Ostrander's Star Wars Republic (clone wars) is fantastic - as was Knights of the Old Republic from that era - Dark Times and Legacy were good, but the other two better...

First of the sets built - I will say this - I think this is one of the most fun SW Lego builds I’ve had in ages - perfect size, build time (about an hour) - it looks great and the Darth Vader is hilarious… I would highly recommend getting this one.

Nope, mines still in the box - I'll be building it with my youngest over the next few weeks - she is somewhat insistent on being involved - nice, but worrying as well. But first I need to clear some shelf space..... But that Gingerbread ATAT might not last the week - I'm itching to build it now :)

Went to Southampton store for 9am - they were selling fast - the staff had thought they’d only shift half a dozen all day, but they’d shifted that number in 10mins of opening - so much so they were just stacking them behind the till to speed things up.

Watched it a few times now and still a little mixed. Overall the trailer doesn't have the same impact as say EP1 did back in 1999 - but it is a teaser, so lets see - I think part of that is the score - it just isn't JW.... There looks to be some cool moments here - the AT-AT sequence looks new...
