You may well be right Andy. The scenes them selves in the diorama are empire scenes so that would probably make sense... Hey you wouldn't want to make a brand new one for jedi, this thing must have taken ages to put together.! :wink:
The video was taken by the guy selling it at the time.
It is/ was an animatronic diorama display made for promoting the jedi toy line. Most likely for a shop window.
Probably the neatest shop display diorama that I have seen I think. There are others out there but I haven't seen any with this...

Basically overstock esb figures re-marketed as jedi wave through the use of the sticker to cover the esb logo. The Canadian market was a bit behind the US and so these filled shelves nicely until genuine Canadian jedi carded figures were released.

The Japanese guy who owned bathing ape sold his full run a year or two ago through sothebys and didn't do half as well. I think they sold for about £60-65k which in all honesty was a very good price for the lot. Especially seeing as it included and third series bespin set engineering pilot ;)
