Inspired by Spoons' tentative step into the world of POTF2 on the acquisitions thread I'd thought I'd put up some pics of my graded THX figs. Last year I posted photos of my Euro POTF2 Long Picture set so this is a bit of a companion to that.

Its taken me years to build these up and get them graded when I can afford it. I've got a soft spot for the POTF2 line as I was a student at the time and felt like a kid again searching through SW figs on a store hangar! The THX leaflets were in the first wave of POTF2 figs in 1995 and were included to promote the OT being remastered in THX sound and released on video for 'one last time' as the ads said! :D

Still got a few to go including Threepio, Chewie, Han, Lando & Leia so if anyone has nice clean cards let me know.

Finally got round to installing Lights in my Hot Toys display Cabinet, so thought I would post a few photos as I am well chuffed with how they have turned out.

Got a lot of love for the 1995 wave 1/2 Orange card Potf2 cards. I too was a student, back in the good old days. Thanks for sharing these they look A1 in acrylic. Might have to get some cases for my 'first 9'

Hi Folks,

I am sure many of you will be aware of the new Haslab platform launched by Hasbro this weekend and their exciting first project - Jabba's Sail Barge! https://www.hasbrolab.com/

Of course, Hasbro have kicked this off by ignoring the collecting community outside of the US  however... Jedi Temple Archives are trying to get Hasbro's attention regarding this via an online petition (of sorts). Who knows if it will work but if you are interested in a Sail Barge and future Haslab products its worth adding your name to this:

NFS - My inadvertant modern collection is growing. At this point it will surpass my vintage! I know nothing about these but just like the look of these and characters I like, however anything mighty fine in there?

Just took this off a courier and i'm stunned at the size of the beast! Makes the stormie bin look slighty tiny :) Also got new Lando, digital face quality is so alike. All thanks to great packaging and price from Geet Toy Stores keep up the good work gents!

Nice looking helmet Chiffy

As people may have noticed I've sold off a load of vintage recently (needs must and all) so I treated myself to a few cheapo Rogue One figures. Might save up for an AT-ACT next.

Great looking helmet chiffy, and those loose figures look great, the big walker sounds good, hope you get one for a decent price
Thanks Ian. I know a site that has them for £100 shipped which seems pretty decent compared to the majority of eBay

Hi all, not been here for a while or in country but just after advice about my "spreading" collection.
I do like modern BUT there is way too much to keep it all now never mind getting figures from all modern films and future probables.
Loved Rogue One and Solo and think packaging is done ok too so as I have only a few figures to get in R1 thats decided.
But (another one), reluctant to part with bargains.
Would really like to get more vintage but cannot resist picking up figures (modern) that are cheap and on sale! Classic impulse SW buying fever.
What do you guys do to retain focus and reduce spread?

Hi Taff

Good to see you back mate 8)

I am in the same boat as you at the moment, it doesnt help with the bargain stores that churn out SW stock at heavily reduced prices, they have you thinking that it is to good to miss especially with the price labels stating a massive discount, its all psychological dont you think? I dont know about you Taff but i am very impulsive ? Always have been.

My focus is Hot Wheels ships and Home Bargains had twin packs in the other day for £1.29, so i had to buy 4 packs  again an impulsive buy.

Lately i am drawn to the black series  But think a bit of self control is what is stopping me from snapping them up, plus i am running out of room  i think that helps me personally to reduce spread and remain focused :D
