Yes it was me who bought it .... and yes it was definately a DT sabre.

But I'm pretty sure now that it was a reproduction.

The reason why I thought it was genuine was because I asked the seller about 2 minutes after he listed it what he wanted for it and if he could guarentee that they were all original/vintage accessories. He said he wanted £20 and also told me that he had them all since new as a child. He was also willing to end the auction early, but then changed his mind when he got about another 4 messages asking the same thing.

Well anyway, when I received it the sabre didn't look like a genuine one I have already got, it looked to be made out of shinier plastic and I couldn't see any letters on the hilt. Also two other weapons in the lot were 90's reproductions, which set the alarm bells going as he was definately lying about them. :x

To cut a long story short I got a refund  (Been holding off replying to this post till I got the refund)

I've definately learn't a valuable lesson not to believe everything people tell ya, some people will tell you what you want to hear to get a sale.

Glad you got a refund. The way I read that auction it seemed that the weapons may, or may not have been included!

Thanks mate. I can see what you mean by his wording, not sure what he meant even now.

I was also wondering about the red eyed Luke farmboy in the first picture as I hadn't seen one like that before.
The figure does actually have red eyes! (Although he does also have a slightly yellow discoloured shirt!)
