Fake Yak Staff Listed As Genuine

Correct me if i'm wrong but this is repro, right?

I have 22 of those and that is not how the little circle bits are supposed to look. :?
I'm not that great at spotting repro weapons but that one looks fake to me and not the usual fake with the little pip/bumps instead of the crater like circles. These are a bit closer but seem to be joined in the middle and the material looks way to shiny.

Looks like a lot of flashing on the right hand side, and is that paint loss near the bottom left hand corner ? Oh and its very very shiny...

Don't ask me if its repro or not though :wink:

Can't tell from the photo, but I've checked previously when looking for a staff and there was a ref pic by Aussie James

I noted on the sellers other items he has a listing of repro weapons, so I would be dubious of the staff.

I'm sure there will be plenty of advice though Pete

If it is fake, why the hell do they bother, as the staff comes with several figures and is plentiful, beggars belief this repro thing!

Looks like Repro v2 to me. Could be wrong as is always difficult from a picture.

Comparing it to one of my genuine ones, it looks too shiny and on mine those two little holes aren't connected, andmy genuine one looks more defined.

I have had a repro before and it was cast in plastic, not painted.

the injection points look the same as the repro on TIG except they are on the opposite side also this floats in water
